Homemade Hamburger Buns

I am making sloppy joes tonight and lo and behold I have no bread products in the house whatsoever except some corn tortillas. We bought a HUGE pack of them a while ago and have been using them for everything though,so I thought I would try to make some hamburger rolls. I used Vegan Brunch's recipe for pull apart poppy rolls except I used sesame seeds instead of poppy and I made individual rolls instead of pull apart. Warm out of the oven one of these babies became my afternoon snack and it was GOOD. It wasn't that soft fluffy hamburger roll at all-hearty with a thicker and crispier crust-more like a dinner roll for sure. Next time maybe I will try to make them with a softer crust recipe like parkerhouse roll dough or something. But these are wonderful just the way they are and they will be wonderful with our sloppy joes tonight!
